JAG - 27/10/08 at 11:48 AM

This guy has a great layout, I used to have loads but never got into it quite like this;

The whole site has hundreds of pictures and it's HERE

OMG
Thats dedication

used to do this too, like that track layout software, never seen it before. Really you need a heated garage as the tracks were forever rusting, though I taped sand paper to the back of some cars with a coin ontop of the paper for weight and then ran them around to clean it lazy git that I am...

Only if the race series is backed by the FIA

This is my 'local' Scalextrix race track.

Phoenix Scalextrix Circuit

I love Scalextrix but half of the fun I had was building different circuits each time I played with it.

Dedicated - yes
Sad - Yes

Err... maybe not so Sad......

He can drive as fast as he wants and get no speeding tickets
He can drive when its Rissing with Pain.
His fuel bill is lower than most of yours.
His cars are easier to fix after a disasterous crash.
No gets hurt, unless the winch fails and drops it on his head

Hmmm I can begin to see the advantages.

Beautiful, very comprehensive model.

Only one or two details he seems to have missed.

How about this for the office next to the stewards meeting room?

He has seriously good tase in cars

Hellfire - 27/10/08 at 01:07 PM

Hmmm.... at first I thought, what a sad git...

Then I thought - actually I'm just as bad... once/year I get my gear out. The kids (well 15 and 12) love it just as much as I do!!

Does that make me a sad git too ?

Steve

Nice one Mike PMSL

orbital - 27/10/08 at 03:09 PM

Now lads don't forget the guy who spent £7K on car wax cleaning his brand new Astra, that's a sad git

This I think we can associate with on some level or another

Cheers

Dave

Is there a Max Mosley figurine to go with that one???? Max doesnt go into the stewards room does he (or is it only when he needs a little chat to discuss what the race result should be)??

rallyingden - 27/10/08 at 05:36 PM

I remember when I had real pit lanes that you could drive through.......... !!

Erm, I once built a loft conversion specifically to house my Scalextric! I'm not kidding - it started as just boards and ended up as a fully carpeted, velux-windowed play room! Then I moved!
