Whats the difference in a 2l injection cam and a carbed cam.. ie lift/duration and when it operates?
I haven't got the faintest idea, but it sounds like you have the same problem as me, a Pinto injection head with a less than perfect cam. Mill Auto's do a standard kit, cam, followers, lube, for about £50, the make is 'blueprint' Anyone got any experience of these?
Injection head with twin 40's .. running like a bag of s**t . but with a slightly worn injection cam . do I replace with standard carb cam or injection cam! Or do I fork out on a pair of new 45's???
According to haynes the cam timing is the same. What did the guy who set up the carbs on the rolling road say?

Have fitted new gaskits to carbs!
Adjusted float levels!
Valve clearances checked!
Ignition is electronic!
New plugs!
Waz set up on rolling road, running very lean, to pass emissions. 1.5% but not very consistant!
They recomended new carbs.. urh!
I think problem is vibration through rubber mounts on inlet. So have tonite slackened off nuts on inlet. What sort of tension is req?? Will test
tomorrow.
