Hi,

Does anyone have any information about the weight of the cast-iron BMC/BL/ARG/Rover A-series engine?

I've seen the recently posted links but they didn't include the A-series. Odd, as there are about 50 squillion of them out there.

240 pounds springs to mind for a 1275.
Put I can't for the life of me remember where I got it.

Mini engine complete with gearbox is 330 pounds - not sure if that is with ancilliaries or not.
