Are there any specialist about who will be able to provide parts to link the gearbox with the transmission mounted on the rear?
It is cable driven for all B18/B16 engine. I know these engines well and have worked on many so feel comfortable working with them. a little B18
180bhp RWD single (maybe 2 seater) will be nice.
Still working on wheelbase and track - so far using wheelbase to track ratio of 1:0.75
many more questions to follow I'm sure. Engine, wiring loom and ecu are arriving soon.

Isn't the problem here that the motor turns backwards, depending on you perspective I guess...
I've thought the solution is to use a transaxle from some VW / Porsche / Audi. Doable, but not so simple, for me anyway...

The Honda engines, at least the ones which rotate the wrong way, have proved frustrating because of the lack of suitable transmission and there have
been countless discussions about there use over the years.
Were you to mate one to a type 9 and drive it backwards, or any other gearbox for that matter, the fact that the gears are cut with a helical pattern
would soon wreck it.

if your putting the engine behind you could you use the honda cables with bell cranks to turn the drive to the gearbox

henry moorhouse has been running a b16 crx engine in a westfield in the harewood championship for a few years now.to get round the engine running the
wrong way they used a quaife straight cut box and turned the diff upside down

setup.
Driveshafts on H22/B18/B16 engines run a good few mm behind the engine. not much of mid-engined setup but at least most of the engine/trans weight
will be in front of the rear axle line.
suggestions most welcome 
I've found this company Kliktronics. Waiting for them to return. this should help get removing the need for a gear shifter mechanis in the main
cabin with two buttons on the steering wheel. let's see if they can cater for H22 engine.
Guys, In regards to a true midengined, can you please recommend a company who will be able to fabricate the sprocket for the chain driven?
My main concern with the chain is that it will deliver power to both wheels will be the same whereas with the H22 LSD gearbox at least there will be
LSD which is always a good option.
Your thoughts?
