I've got cance of a 2.0 pinto engine. Can anyone tell me how I can be sure it's a 2.0 without measuring the bore/stroke. Is there anything
external to look for?
i.e. numbers etc.
On the block it will have 200 or 205 if it's a 2lt
20 or 200 or 202 or 205
20 is the old pinto
200 is a cosworth block
202 is a low compression version
205 is the later pinto/cosworth block
Or the cam belt cover will say 2 on it, the 1.6 ones don't fit a 2 litre
thanks for the info
Paul
The later 1600 pinto has a 2litre cambelt cover which says 2 on it
