Currently running the standard carb on a 2.0 pinto Exiting throught the top of the bonnet...but have just aquired a set of twin 40`s ok i know i need to get a manifold but what do i do with the other connections???

Will i need to get a new non vacum dizzy?
is it an oil breather also connected.??
are new manifolds water cooled/heated??

please assist me. any advice will be appreciated..

You can still use a vacuum dizzy if you buy a csmall onnector for the pipe that just screws into the top of one of the carbs where there is currently a blanking screw.
You will need a "hi-flow" manifold that raises the carbs above the chassis rail as a pose to a straight one and I think they are all water heated, but are simple to plumb in.
You will need to modify the breather. A comon route is the right angle adaptor from Vulcan which connect via a pipe to a separate catch tank with a filter on it.

I was told not to bother with the vacuum advance as its only really for economy, and with twin webers this wont be much anyway.

Also where can you get the high manifolds from, i couldnt find one in the burtons catalogue.

the high inlet manifold is coming direct from tigerracing.. 85 plus the vat..
