Hi guys does anyone happen to know the flywheel size on a 2.0 pinto?
i have one in the garage i will measure later for you
215mm same as a late model 1.6 model, the early moel 1.6 is 190mm.
and weighs over 9kg
IIRC
you can get a good few kilos shaved off there though (mine is now only 5kg

lightweight.....
Thanks for the replies guys... the reason for the random question is I am fitting a pinto engine initially and using a T5 gearbox, post IVA I will be
changing to a volvo T5 engine. I was just working out whether I should buy a T5 to pinto bell housing or not... it would appear that the best option
is for me to get a standard cosworth bell housing as the cosworth flywheel is the same diameter to that on the volvo so the starter motor should work
nicely... will just have to make a temporary modification whilst the pinto is fitted.
