Dear forum members,
I am looking far an expansion tank for the Fury. ( OEM type/plastic, not alu )
Max available height incl. cap = 150mm
Max depth = 150mm
Width is not that important. As the tank will be mounted beside my pedal box ( RHD ) the connections for the coolant hose ( top & bottom ) should
be on the left side as much as possible ( or right side when sitting in the car )
If the tank is not that high I could get away with a bottom connection too and one connection somewhere near the top
of the tank.
Have been searching the web but so far did not find anything suitable.
Good question Jos,
I would be very interested in the information here as I am in position of designing my cooling system.
Len.
Have a quick look on Ebay for a Ford KA Header tank, not sure on exact measurements but looks like what your after.
Look at the Rover 25 tank ( The Rover 45 tank is an entirely different shape from the 25 tank)
That is quick !
Unfortunately both tanks seem to have the hose connections on the wrong side.
They need to be ond the right hand side when sitting in the car.

I fitted a VW 'ball' to my Fury. Fits perfectly on the bulkhead/shelf with bonnet clearance, and easy to mount.

Thank you for the help.
I will measure some tanks today you suggested. Done an extensive search on the net/ebay etc.
will let you know the outcome.
cheers
The VW globe/ball type are availabe fom EuroCarParts for about £12 if you can fit one in. Total height is <200mm. The bottom entry comes out horizontally, the cap is prettylow profile and they come complete with a low level sensor built in.
I bought exactly that one. The vw globe/ball. Have to do some research of how the sensor thingy works.
anybody ?
thanx again.
