running 2l zetec with focus manifold to single downpipe, using zx10 bike silencer, car is quiter, looks better (than my previous locost attempt) but i think/ feel it may be restictive, looked inside silencer, seems it may have a cat???, can not see through silencer, would i be better off getting straight through silencer, ?? noise ? etc, any locost ideas,

I have used the tubular manifols and had a stainless pipe made which I have welted onto it. I have fitted a standard can Made by Martin Keenan MK Engineering sounds ok and not restrictive

Thanks 4 advise, was more concerned on wether cat would restrict power, the exhaust looks and sounds better, did not know it had a cat and what effect it would have, allso im running bike carbs, ??? on how there effect on silencer with cat.
