Just bid on a 2.5 focus st engine, and was wondering what type of box will mate to it for a 7?!

Original plan was a duratec, but beer made a decision (looks like scootz has competition!)

If I dont win the ST and go duratec - type 9 or MT 75?? Pros and cos pls folks??

as far i know thats essentially a volvo t5 engine, don't pay too much mine cost £100 complete.

I could be wrong, but if it is it will bolt to a volvo 960 gearbox or a pretty much anything with a kl racing adapter plate.

Like to see pros and cons as I will eventualy be sorting a box for.my duratec v6.

Volvo engine, Volvo box would be simple.
Type 9 or MT75, Type 9 V6 has better ratios but not as strong as MT75.
T5 Cosworth box, strong enough and much better ratios.
