A G Bell's calks should give ball park figures.

HP x 4.6/number of cylinders = cc per min x 100/injectors per cyl x inj duty cycle.

I don't think Yamaha would have fitted such mismatched injectors.
320cc/min @ 3 bar with a 70% duty cycle are good for 195 bhp.
I would check your software calcs.

sorry typo it comes out at 256bhp at 45psi in car fuel pressure how are you working it out?

Paul Turner - 25/12/11 at 09:08 AM

330cc injectors are good for about 220 bhp at 95% using 3 bar fuel pressure, well they were in my Zetec.

220 bhp needs approximately 253cc/min @ 3 bar. At 80% 330cc injectors will flow 264cc/min.
If you use your car in anger pushing injectors past this value could destroy your engine.

ok thanks appreciate your replys the engine made 203 previously and i think il struggle to find any injectors to replace them directly so if the injectors are nearly maxing out il have to fit 4 more :-/
