I can get it stated by bumping it but it doesn't charge the battery can't jump start it as my car is a 308 and the battery is half under the fuse box and a right bic to get at and the kit well we won't even go there lol
can you check with a multimeter what volts the battery is holding with the engine on and off?
should tell you if the battery is dead or the alternator is busted?
good point I'll check when me dad gets back taken keys with him lol
good luck mate.
I had a simular issue which i thought was the alternator but when the engine was running the lights got brighter when i rev'ed it making me sure
it was the battery.
it made the starter knock rather than start and didnt charge after a 75 mile journey home.
anyway let me know how you get on. hope i helped....
When running you should get about 14v with a meter over the batt if not the alternator is f#€ked
Cheers people just managed to have quick look only of the leads has snapped of the alternator oh well easy annoying fix I suppose
There is no such thing as annoying when it doesnt cost you a bomb.... its lucky.
see you didnt need us :O)
