I am considering a catch tank for my build.
I am finding conflicting info on how to plumb one in.
1. Plumb it in with the breathers to the tank and have a vent to atmosphere on the tank. No connection to the inlet manifold.
2. Plumb it in with the breathers to the tank then have a return to the inlet manifold. I guess so the vacum draws the vapour in and the baffles keep
the oil in the tank?
What do people think?
Number 1 for me, I wouldnt want emulsionated oil been returned back to the sump.

Ptend not to have vacuum feed from the manifold, defeats the object of a catch tank
If you have multiple carbs you would feed oily air to 1 cylinder not good
Modern emmissions coming out to play, in the old days you just stuck the breather out under the engine and threw on to the road.
Just breath into catch tank, vent this to air, make sure the vent is the same size as the engine breather
