Water leak

Description
So there is water coming out of the waterpump and after I pulled a couple of bits off its obviously pouring out of the hole in this photo but I
don't know what its for. There is no spigot to pipe up to and no thread in it for a bung, any clues?

when the seal goes it leaks from there,a crude early warning device really

yep needs a new waterpump.

thats an arse, I reckon I'm gonna have to have the engine out to get the crank pulley off.
