Hi,

I've changed to an accuspark trigger from points on the pinto but now I have Rev counter issues.
It has always been abit erratic with the points but now it is worse.

After the accuspark was fitted the engine runs well but the rev counter was reading half speed so I changed the dip switches on the rear of the gauge so it reads correct but the gauge seems to be erratic at high speed, +/- 1000RPM or so.

I've read that with points you need a diode fitted on the signal wire? should this still be fitted with electronic ignition?

now sorted. It needed a diode fitting.
