Im pulling my car to pieces at the moment to do a few upgrades, and whilst ive got the nosecone off i have noticed that it looks like my radiator is
leaking from the plastic end tanks.
Its the VW polo radiator that im using which is standard fit in the VortX. Im looking to get the car on some track days next year, so was wondering if
it is worth me upgrading to one of these:

which is meant to be a straight swap for the polo rad.
Ive never had any cooling issues with the car, and the cooling system seems to work well how it is, but increasing the cooling capacity will surely
help when giving it some beans on the track.
Any else have experience of this radiator, or used something better/cheaper?
I thought of using that one when planning my turbo build. Looks good if a little expensive but its a round about price considering the others. And,
being a straight swap a no brainer..
IMO It would have to bring a lot more than slightly better cooling and longeveity to warrant the 800% price over a standard polo rad! Especially if your not having any cooling issues!
The Honda Civic rad (and a few others..) were discussed in a recent thread here.
NO cooling issues with the Civic racing (dual core) rad, when I had the CA18DET turbo engine. It is rather tall, and made fitting a front mount intercooler very difficult, however.
