I'm trying to get the gear lever out of my 4 speed Ford box.
The manual says to remove the plastic nut but someone has had a go before and rounded off all the edges.
Any advice on how to get it off

The one I had used to take itself off, usually at a junction going for first gear . Has it got a locking tab washer under it that you need to bend.
