Sesrch is throwing up conflicting info. So whats best for a t5? Dextro 3 atf?

Dexron III ATF is what was used with T5 in the Rover 75 V8, it is fully synthetic but Dexron VI is the latest spec, main difference is it is made from better quality synthetic feed stock to give it better cold characteristics.

Officially Dexron III has been killed off by GM no oil manufacturer is allowed to make it under the Dexron name so they now call it Dex 3
