Duratec injector rail mod?
TrophyJem - 28/2/14 at 12:28 PM

Has anybody successfully modified the standard Duratec injector rail to have an outlet on the end to feed back to the swirl pot?
If so how have you done it please?

I bought a st150 one and drilled a hole in the end cut the feed pipe of the standard rail then got it welded to the st one

Is there a reason you need to? Just put a T-piece in before the inlet and take your return from there.

Didn't know I could do that. I assumed that the return needed to be at the end.

Many cars look like that as they have the reg integral with the rail, but it's not required. See this thread for a bit more info:

In the diagram you can substitute 'tank' for 'swirl pot' if you are using one.

I'll do that then. Saved me a job.
Cheers!
