Hi everyone

I am building a single seater with a passat / audi a4 engine. Just wondered if the bolt on driver shafts from a golf fit?

I need longer shafts than the passat ones. If this is the case I can use two drivers side shafts from the golf.

Alternately, what are my options for lengthening the shafts I have. And what price am I looking at to get it done?

The bolt pattern is the same for both sides..

Same for a golf and passat? Are they interchangeable? The passat has a transaxle. The golf is transverse

I'm pretty sure the drive flanges are the same.

You might even find that the shafts have the same splines on the inboard ends and can fit 90 or 100mm joints?
