What size twin throttle bodies on jag V6?

In trying to lower the height of a jag 3.0 V6 which has a huge inlet manifold - mainly to increase torque which is not so important in a lighter car so I am looking at using twin throttle bodies - one each side of the engine but what size is appropriate or indeed is it that important?

I guess that it is not just the case of making the total area the same as the uneven gas flow from 3 cylinders as compared to 6 cylinders will flow less efficiently. Also would there be benefits from increasing the flow area anyhow compared to standard?

There is quite a bit of info available on carbs but it is not relevant as they have to maintain a fast airflow for the venturi effect to vaporize the petrol.

Also the choice will be affected by what is available at a reasonable price.

Any guidance in the collective?

Cheers!

If you do a search there is quite a bit of info on a jag v6 install in a lotus esprit. He initially tried bike tbs but then fitted a st200 inlet onto the jag engine to lower the height. The omega 3.2 v6 had a twin throttle bodi iirc. There is also info on tb size on the jenvey website, that may give you an idea.
