Looking at changing fuel pump as she seems to lose power under load
At high revs, but not every time. Stood still it's fine car was set up at bog brothers
But have to say was never that impressed. Any advice on what fuel pump would be best
Before I go back. Is there anybody else good with pintos in yorkshier ?

I have a pinto on twin 40s with a (loud) mechanical facet pump.
When i rolling roaded mine recently it started to gently tail off at full chat over time as the float bowls started drying out.
The guy operating the dyno said he had seen it before on twin carbs where the fuel pressure regulator had to be twinned up to get stable fuel pressure
and flow into the float bowl at the farthest end when running twin carbs. I still have a single regulator for now but was considering doing the mod
once I have a bunch of more pressing things sorted first.

You could try motoscope at Northallerton for rolling road setup. I think they do a fair bit on mk2 escorts so I would assume they know their way around a pinto. This is where I will be taking mine soon.
Check the needle valve size on the carbs, if they're to small then on full chat the float chambers will empty quicker than they can be filled no
matter what pump/reg you use.

Has this been a problem from the beginning? or has it just developed (maybe over time)
Boggs have a good reputation, and the would have noticed if fuel starvation was a problem when it was on the rollers, the mixture would have gone
dangerously weak. Unless the pump has become worn/weak and isn't delivering any more.
Those huco pumps are excellent. Remember, most pumps should be able to deliver enough fuel for 200bhp and webers do not need very much pressure at
all. Too much is bad though.
What about dizzy? has that been checked? under load? maybe advance curve is not set correctly? Is vac advance connected? or is it megajolt/similar.
But whatever the problem, a session on the rollers finds most issues pretty fast as long as the operator knows what they are doing (becoming more of
an issue with carbs as many deal with EFI only, so recommendation is important)

If your using a Facet pump and a screw in prefilter it's not unknown for the profiler to get blocked, it happened to mine? Try a straight screw in adaptor and a universal fuel filter for carbs, the type with an 8mm & 6mm connections available for a couple of quid, mines been fine since I took the profiler off
