Hi all, i am soon stripping me donor (XR4x4) to kit out me Viento....yeehah!
been to me local transmission company and had a chat to engineer whoo says he can remove the 4wd transfer box section and replace it with a standard 2wd gearbox output housing. So does any one have a spare output housing for a type nine sierra box they would like to part with??????

It might be easier just to buy a capri 2.8 gearbox, as it is the same as the one in the XR4 (long input shaft).

That is a good idea, but the box i have is very good and i may end up getting a shot 2nd hand box, have to scour ebay i reckon!
