I am in the process of replacing the head gasket in my Stylus and thought I would replace the cambelt at the same time as it is now 8 years old although very few miles. Ihave got the to top two parts of the cover off but can't remember how to remove the bottom part. I have removed the pulley from the water pump along with the bolts holding the cover on but still can't get the cover passed the end of the wp or the bottom pulley. I'm sure it will be a doh! moment as I have removed it before but it won't squeeze through now. any suggestions gratefully received.

I'm dredging my memory here but....I think it's a tight squeeze between the crank pulley and front edge of sump to get the lower cover off. I might have a photo on laptop which I will look for later.

Does it really need to come off? Can you work around it?

I had another look this morning and removed the bottom pulley which turned out to be straight forward. It's on it's way back together again now. Thanks for the reply.

ah yes, i found my pic, yes you need to remove the crank pulley.
