fuel tank plumbing/return line/breather

Have been looking at the plumbing layout for my fuel tank, it has pickup outlet and one return line, is it possible to put the breather/one way valve on a directional t-piece on the return line near the tank or do i need to have a seperate breather outlet on the tank?

the tank design was originally for a carb install and now i'm using injection hence the uncertainty.

thanks,

Ned.

Ned,

Has it got a built in swirl pot? If not are you fitting an external swirl pot? You could plumb the return into the external swirl pot.

Northy,

Yes I am using an external swirl pot, but that still needs a return line to the tank!

Spoke to bob and he's heard of people doing it the way i propose so i don't think it's gonna be a problem
