Exhaust..still struggling!
jonbeedle - 24/5/05 at 05:11 PM

I've decided not to chop the chassis about in order to make my exhaust fit, instead I've decided to try to modify the pipes. As you can see in the photo, with the engine and the pipes in position, there is a shortfall of 1.5". Therefore I need to know if there is anyone who can extend the pipes for me by 1.5" as I'm crap at welding and I don't have access to welding gear and it's a stainless system!
Any help/advice appreciated. Rescued attachment Manifold.jpg

You could try yellow pages etc. for local exhaust specialists.

Hi Jon,

I'm a fair way away but if you can sort out some bits of pipe and some measurements and leave it with me for a couple of weeks I'll do it for you.

Many thanks but I think 907 is going to help and he lives fairly near. If for any reason he isn't able to help I'll take you up on your kind offer. Thanks again.
Cheers
Jon

Can't actually help but just wanted to say that that is by far abetter solution to your problem than cutting the chasis
Good luck with it .]
