This one's spawned from blatant ignorance, how many mount points from the engine block are there on the ford blocks, 2 or 3? i ask as adapting a FWD block to RWD setup means i'm losing a mount from the FWD gearbox and the remaining 2 are offset, one at the front n/s and one at the rear o/s. i dont plan on having the box after the engine as is traditional, rather a rear trans axle. this may mean i maght need to add another mount to steady the engine... Any ideas fould be dabi dosi

Pinto has two mounts.

Some (such as Hicost's Cossie ) have fitted extra though- such as to the cylinder head etc.
