Just to let people know I got a new Polo aluminium rad (380mm wide core) for just £49 incl VAT (no P&P 'cos I live locally). Just a wee bit cheaper than German, Swedish and French. Only took 2 days to get.

... the only thing was that the new one (unlike the old one and others I have seen on here, e.g. Surrey Dave's) only has the self tap lugs on one side of the front - had to make U shaped brackets to go round to the lugs on the rear of the rad to hold on the nosecone shrouding - you can just see it at top left of the rad in the lower part of the picture.
