have the following figures stamped onto the crown of the pinto piston..therefore are these standard or has the block already been bored?

91.295c SP0.025 LYP

AE21426vi +0.50.

they look in v.good gondition.. with no movement at tdc or bdc, and no lip at the top of the stroke..

Any info please....

isnt that a half mm ovrebore? 0.5mm.

91.295 is the bore size i think.

Pinto engines rarely developed a lip at the top of the bore and it was not uncommon to find honing marks still evident on a 100000 miler. Check for a lip at the bottom of the stroke if you can. This is where the wear will be more evident.
