Ok so I have decided on what kit im going to get it’s a ACE sports car… it flicks my switch.

And his stuff looks REALLY good, and he has some nifty stuff.. have a look
But I don’t know when engine to put in it!
I like the BEC but having no reveries is a pain. Getting a normal car engine is cheap but tuning it is expensive and there is a lot of tinkering and
installing it is not easy
But dropping a bike engine in there and BOOM your away.... but what about insurance and those other annoying legal matters and finding a 13000 RPM
counter and gearbox how dose that work
So what should I do please help
Gearbox comes with the engine and you use the bikes clocks!

Can't comment on the springs - hope that's a mistake.
What I can say is that I have a set of his wishbones - the rose jointed jobs.
I also like the new transmission tunnel design. Hope it works, because it looks the part.
May I also add, for myself communications were spot on. Many of my emails were answered within 5 minutes. No more than an hour at worst. I just hope
that the locost community can have a new supplier that delivers and grows at the right speed...

not trying to be negative (honest) but they can't be that busy if they can afford to check their emails every 5 mins!
that chassis looks basically the same as most other cars, but i wonder how the tunnel desgin affects the stiffness?
looking on their site i see they do some adjustable escort rack clamps at £245pair which seems excessive.

...or they leave outlook open, set to check emails every minute with a sound each time one is recieved.

by the way, i too like the idea of a round tunnel. I was thinking of using a piece of 4" soil pipe for my next one.

Id agree with Ned, the tunnel looks nice but it offers absolutely no triangulation so wont help the chassis stiffness compared to a conventional tunnel. Also, isnt it going to be a right pain in the arse to mount a handbrake or gear lever onto it?

A good site, but beware that it hasnt been updated for probably 5 years, and BEC installation ingenuity and parts availability have come a long way
since.
