Hello
Got a real problem, after only 1500 km. my fuelline is leaking on every joint.
Got it from the Dutch importer, said it;s real great stuff.
Got proper fuelclips for every joint but cannot get it too stop.
Is it wrong fuelline ??? maybe not for injected motors or for different fuel
Thinking about buying the braided stainles stuff now.
Greetings Daniel
Same thing happened with my supplied fuel hose. The hose had been supplied to me by my kitcar company and after a couple of weeks noticed fuel leaking from all the hose joints ,spoke to kitcar supplier and was told they were aware of this problem and was recalling a batch of faulty hose,a number of builders were experiencing this problom.New hose supplied no problems since.
Thanks for the quick reply.
Making a order for new hose tommorrow than.
Think i go for stainles braided this time, just for security.
Thanks again Daniel
Is it Codan fuel hose by any chance? Mine was part of a faulty batch that reacted badly to unleaded fuel.
Do not remember what make but it was supposed to be suitable for all petrols and injection setups. What was happening it started to swell and delaminate and hence fuel leaks.
A fuel injection system needs pipes made from a particular type of rubber. It was explained to me why but I have forgotten. Braided hose will be no
better unless the liner has the necessary resistance. I remember that I bought my fuel pipe from Think Automotive http://www.thinkauto.com/ and I
found them really helpful. If you call them you will get sound advice. That's my advice.
