exhuast bracket

anyone know where I can get one of those rubber exhaust brackets from that hold the rear pipe to the body work?
the one that was on my indy has perished .

Do you mean the rubber bobbin? If so, any motor factors or automotive parts shop should stock them.

bit nieve .. have bought an indy recently ready built cus im lazy and a bit thick when it comes to engines now ive got to do some tinkering ..

Don't worry, you'll learn. A 2-3 years ago I knew nowt about cars, and I started building a chassis from scratch a while ago. And I did'nt know how to weld at the time either! I now know how to build general engines and how to modify a fair few of them too. But, as you've done the missus told me to buy one as it would be quicker/less stressful on us! Now I get to learn all about bike engines!

The "bobin" type exhaust mounts look suspiciously like transmission mounts from a Triumph spitfire or GT6.

The ones I've seen have come from the rear of the back box on a mini.
