TYPE R HONDA ENGINE

I have chance of a type r 2005 engine, does anybody know if it will fit and also would i have to use convertion plate, or is there a gearbox that will fit

If its from a civic (i.e front wheel drive) i think they spin the wrong way?? although there must be some ingenious solution to this

No, The K series Honda engine spins the normal way, it's the same engine used in the S2000 which is where the OP will find a suitable (though pricey) gearbox.

It's not the same engine as the s2000 engine. The s200 has a f20c engine, while the civic type r engine is a k20a engine. Thus the gearbox of an s2000 will not fit the type r engine. But it will be a great engine for a middy.
