
hi ive striped down to take the 2nd butterflys out do you just fill the holes on the ends do you have to fill the ones joining the bodies together.
and these are going on a 2L zetec can i use the standard zetec injectors.

I'd be inclined to say it doesn't matter. The only air that could come through those holes would be from the adjacent body, which would
already have been filtered. Since the holes are before the butterflies it won't have any effect on the amount of air flowing to the cylinders.
Edit: This assumes there is no way for air to get in through those holes that has not been filtered - I'm not that familiar with the shape of the
casting on these bodies. If 'dirty' air can get in then yes, they need to be bunged up.

I'd be tempted to tie them together in a vacuum manifold, if you're using a map sensor based injection system
They're outside the butterflies, won't see much vacuum there.
I reckon you should be OK to leave those holes open, but on the other hand if you're filling the outer ones it's not much effort to do the
rest while you're at it...
