Our Zetec in are Velocity Xt is a 1995 2.0L unit. It has bein compleatly rebuilt with new rings seals, the lot. So far the mods are twin 45 Dellorto
carbs with Megajolt and it has being lightend and balanced. So what BHP do you think it will be running at the wheels? We are running a standard MT75
gearbox, diff and siera hubs (all rebuilt). 195/45/15 tyres if that makes much differance. Thanks!
my bet would be just shy of 140 bhp at the wheels
It has also got a 4 branch stainless exauste from leugo.
Yep looks a very nice car.
Out of interest, Who/where did you get your propshaft from ?

Got it from the Bradford Propshaft clinic. Got exellant service and are highly recomended. Just took measurments from gearbox to diff and they new exactly what they was doing. did a great job too. I heard that they make them for Westfield.
I'd have guessed around 135-140 WHP depending on the rollers used.
160 BHP at the flywheel tends to be the average for standard zetec on carbs.
just had my zetec on rollers it made 130 at wheels it has blackbird carbs .omex ecu. newman cams. so you could have 120 t0 125 at wheels but whatever it makes it will be quick
.....130 with carbs, ecu and cams????
what size engine??
its a 2lt phaze 2 engine. if you know the start bhp at wheels as said by ford which is 100 bhp. add the mods up and 130bhp @wheels is a realistic figure even though most people seem to say more. is it because some rolling roads make it look better than it is so you go home happy .
