pics of diy zetec exhaust manifold please.
anyone had a go at doing one. iam having probs getting some bends.i found this at the scrapyard its got 4 bends on it for the grand sum of £10 so it well worth cutting up yo try lol. it was off a bmw and its all stainless steel. i used to get the bends out a skip by me but its gone now .

this was my first attempt



just cut the original pipes of the standard manifold and welded some 90deg bends,
not the best solution but it worked

and it was locost would say about £15 total
was ok but not the best

how thick are your manifold plates as we thickest we have at work is 6mm. so i might have to buy some.
Danozeman. the pipe is welded to the back of the box and not very good so it might look a mess once ive cut it off. i might keep it just for the outside tube you never no it might come in handy lol.
but then again thats why my sheds full of crap lol

6mm should be fine if you can weld it without distorting it. Having seen your other pics that shouldnt be a problem.

Not doing the tubo then ?

oh yes lol i just wanted to see how you went about joining all the pipes ive gotta put a flange on the bottom but its about the same how they join.
