Looking for a concensus of opinion here.

I'm about to buy the bits to mount my dellortos and have myself in a quandry?

What is best? Thackery washers (the little coil springs) or the rubbers and cup washers?

I thought thackery washers were the best for Dellorto's?

think I may have asked same question.

I ended up with thackery - easier to sourece and I thnkg cheaper.

disadvantage of the tackeries is the springs break up in time hence the instroduction of the rubber ones. For the miles I will be doing I doubt this will be any problem. Also these washers have been arround for yonks and still are avaialble, if they were no good, they would have been replaced.

Thackarys it is then. mucho cheapness as well which is great.

I had thackery washers and they kept breaking. Wasn't doing many miles either, I think they just go with time. Replaced with the rubber washer type and never had any problems. They invented the rubbers for a reason
