use Tiger seal on the airbox between it and the carbs??

Is it petrol oil and heat resistant???

don't think tigar seal is fuel resistant wurth do a fuel resistant sealant atb andy

I used PU on a modified oil cap and it just falls apart after a couple of days

I'm sure I'll be corrected on this but when I used to race Karts we used to use bog standard silicone bathroom sealant to seal head gaskets.

I know it's good to pretty high temperatures but it can be a bugger to get off!

I have used Tigerseal as a petrol proof gasket on my fuel pump - no problems so far.

I used tigerseal to bodge up the cracked sump on a mate's Escort diesel, I plastered a bit of alloy plate with it & tex screwed it over the crack. Its not gone soft or jelly-like & it's been on two years.
It does weep a bit but you would weep too if you were subject to the abuse this car gets!

I think that you should avoid using silicone based sealants near the inlet if your using an O2 sensor.
There are some instant gasket types that are suitable for use with O2 sensors but need to check regarding fuel compatibility.
