On What engine? assuming car, you probably could but I'm not sure how the advance works on the bike, I think, it is pre programmed into the unit to match the requirements of the bike's engine. So you wouldn't have the mapability to transplant to a car engine.

And the rev-limiter probably wont cut in till about 11500 rpm...............

Been looking at a set of ZRX1200 carbs which are fitted with kawasaki K-TRIC tps which alters the advance depenant on the load. Just a thought. Should have said for use on zetec engine.

My ZX10 wiring is uber simple.

I know that's old fashioned compared to most bike systems, but there you go.

Whilst the ECU would probably be not a lot of use, the coils and trigger could be, but since you'd have to alter the ecu, you could use a more car friendly/common trigger, as the bike one's tend to be quite small and bolted to one end of the crank. The coils would be good for wasted spark though.

I was thinking of this setup, i would bypass the sidestart and netrual switches. Then use the rest.
