Hi
Its time to upgrade the xflow. Does anybody have a pair of the above for sale? Thought somebody might need some money towards their holiday.
Thanks
Hall
Go bike carbs mate. Cheaper most of the time and hardly ever go out of tune and when they do they aren't the headache that webbers can be.
Assuming the crossflow is around the 1600/1700 capacity, 45's might be a bit too big anyway.

Hi Hall
Got a set of 40's reconnned and ready to fit on, with manifold and linkages - I bought them from someone on here a while a go, but never used
them due to new project start.
Send me a u2u if your still interested
Phil
As already suggested I think 45s are way too big . I have 35mm T/Bs on my crossflow which will pull from 1,000RPM in top and up to 7,000 RPM through the gears and has 127BHP at the flywheel . You could get more BHP but probably at the expence of drivability . 40s or better still bike carbs would be the best bet
Hi Scoop. What type of bike carbs would I need? Is this a ploy of BEC owners to gradually ween a CEC owner over to the dark side?
My mate suggested the 45s and reduce the choke. He has years of knowledge in performance issues, not sure what he has in mind for the xflow, but I am
willing to spend around £800. 45s may end up on a 20xe. What could I get for this money. There is a labour element to this as I am not experienced in
this area.
Thanks
