TB's or Carbs?
focijohn - 17/6/08 at 08:36 PM

Evening all,
as per the subject. I am thinking of using a ST 2.0 zetec (pre 95) along with some mild cams, and am going to challenge myself and put together a MS brain.
Which would be better TB's or carbs? Was going to use bike bits seeing as this seems to keep cost relatively low. Im not sure weather it would be worth using a BT instead in which case TB's seems to be the only choice because of the 02 sensor (i will stand corrected!).
Which bits and bobs would be needed apart from the manifold and pumps?

Cheers

John

I'd go for TB's - if you can make a manifold and any other bit's they can be cheap to do (mine came to £65 - for six ! )

Edit - and another £25 for fuel rail material , and £10 for injectors........

Apparently the Zetec will accept a Rover T16 inlet manifold if an adaptor plate is used --- was covered a while back.
