Could someone tell me if these would be suitable mated to a lightened and balanced 2.0 blacktop to be spaced onto a 170 manifold??

As the seller how big the butterfly ends are. Anything over 38mm will be fine.
The 1000 ones are 43mm and tapered, well up to the job.
Biggest advantage of the GSXR ones is the fact they are individual, not dual like most others. This makes them dead easy to space out.
Have you checked this site out??
GSXR TB Fitting
looks like they do, not that ive done it but have a look at this web site

That set has two sets of butterflys so will neeed more work than an earlier set.
The extra butterflys and servo need dumping and the holes blocking up.
They will be fine - most people go for throttle bodies that are far too big , 38 is about right for a 2 liter in my opinion .
What I like about the 600's is that they have mounting tabs on the engine side, so you can actually bolt them to a manifold. Somehow to me that feels more secure than hanging them on the engine with some silicone hose. Look how it's done HERE
Yes they'll be sweet, I went out in a 600T/B'd Westfield (In fact the one listed in the link above) a few months ago, ran sweet as a nut.
Also Cheffy on the site is going to be running a set on his wifes car
