zx9r diff?

The zx9r engine is quite apealing to me, as I have always liked kwaks.
But i'm not 100% sure which diff I would need. I have a 3.6 from my sierra.
Also, where can I find "malcs" stock list?
Many Thanks Jas Gray

His user name is yorkshire-engines so could just do a search for that.

I have a zx9r but have a 3.38 diff, and i definetly would want it any higher, ideally i would like a 3.14 sierra or a 3.22 freelander. You can offset it by running larger wheels.

I have the same setup with a 'blade engine - nothing wrong with a 3.62 with ZX-9R power and torque output.

I'm trying to run a 3.62 with mine but the sodding thing is playing up.
Can I just comment on the ZX9. I have worked on a Fireblade and it was loads easier to wire up and also seemed a little bit shorter. With the ZX9 you'll struggle to keep it all under the bonnet and have the bottom sticking out. I've had to use tall bodywork.
Also the gearboxes have the reputation of being weak. Given the choice again I'd use a Fireblade.

Have a look for gearcalc which is a spreadsheet that Chris Gamlin has on the bottom of his signature. (Have a look for his posts).

That allows you to chose all the variables, engine, rev limit, diff ratio and wheel / tyre size. This then gives you a top speed in each gear.
