I have read of people fitting last minute trim, so worth taking some of that?
how is your speedo driven? that seems to cause a lot of fails - maybe some spare magnets/some way of removing them?
When is it?

Just made mines up tonight.
Toolbox
Lappy
Serial cable
foam/trim/nut covers / self amalgam tape /tie wraps/insulating tape /terminals and fuses mixture of in a box.
Folder with all documentation/receipts and dvla sva stuff in it.
Spare can of fuel ( plan to run it up to temp before the guy arrives so will need to refill to full)
Think that's about it.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

^That^ is a pretty complete list. I'd just add some spare bulbs and gaffer tape to it. Possibly also a flask of decent coffee and something to
eat.

I've got my SVA in the morning so have spent the day getting ready. I've probably gone way OTT with the amount I'm taking. One large
box contains spare SVA trim, heatshrink, cable sheathing, ties, various nuts and bolts, drill bits, pop-rivets, p-clips etc.
Another box has various handtools, socket set, axle stands, trolley jack plus electric drill, heatgun and powerfile, just in case I'm allowed to
remedy any minor fail points on site (though there may be a problem using them as they're not 'PAT-Tested? )
Paperwork includes proof of engine age (haynes manual) and various spec. sheets/receipts/photos which may be relevant.
Just need some way of whiling away the next 9 -10 hours as there's no friggin' way I'm gonna be able to sleep tonight. Avon is
loaded on trailer (hopefully!) boxed in enough by tintop to prevent any thieving scrotes attempting to have her away off drive overnight (Ijust know
any slight noise and I'll be up at the bedroom window like a jack-in-the-box.
Andy.

My piont exactly!
Don't forget your camera; We want pictures!
Enjoy the experience. It's not as bad as some people would have you believe.
