FS: Pinto Head with Kent RL1 (& what's it worth?)
This head came on the engine of my project. It has a Kent RL1, with what look like uprated valve springs and alloy exhaust spring caps. There is
some wear to the cam as shown, this is the worst lobe and isn't as bad as it appears.
The inlet ports have been smoothed to match a previously used inlet manifold, and the inlet tract looks to have had some work. The exhaust ports look
untouched. The valves are standard I:42mm,E:36mm.
I have a some exhaust gaskets and a spare cam cover (filled neck slightly butchered by previous owner) which the buyer can have gratis if they need
it.
Not sure what it is worth to be honest, I was thinking £120 but not sure as most of the ones that go on eBay tend to give very little detail. Any
comments on price would be good, or make me an offer.
I'm in west Kent, but work in Maidstone. Failing that I can courier it (on a 2 day service) for about £15.
