I see you have had problems fitting the high torque starter.
I had the same with my car but solved it by removing the two allen bolts holding the flange and rotating the body untill it fitted, I then redrilled the flange to suit.
The messing about was worth it for first time starts with the high torque.

It's more to do with the chassis being in the way, I rotated every which way bit it ain't gonna go (unfortuantly)
