Leaning out at idle
Sometimes (more often than not) my pinto leans itself out at idle while just sitting there.
Does it when its hot or cold.
Any ideas?

Maybe an air leak or some dodgey ve's at low rpm. First port of call is air leaks, then have a mooch at the ve table.

I have constant AFR showing on my dash. It slowly rises at idle from 13.5 to 17 then the engine stalls.
Will sit there fince for maybe 2 mins or more then start to lean out....
Could be an air leak I guess, some of the joiners arent brill between the TBs and manifold.

Well yes that would be the case, because it will then be either brocken down, unable to start, or the clutch has gone,(going by the posts on the

Is the water temperature going up quickly? signal from coolant temp sensor? Have you sorted out the alternator? change in voltage?

The obvious thing to look at may be the pulse width, if it changes then engine conditions are changing, if not then maybe instalations problems. Could
be heat soak, try coasting with the engine idling, see if that does anything.
The annoying thing is i've had a car do it to me, but can't for the life of me remeber what i did to fix it.

What are your intake air temps doing? I've had all sorts of issues in the past with MS over-correcting for air-density because of heat-soak on
the IAT sensor. It generally took a bit longer than you're describing to lean out though, but probably worth checking.
Always tended to happen to me during MOT tests
