Left hand drive TR5

Hi all, I´m biulding a left hand drive Haynes roadster & just needed to know if TR5 is to be cut to fit & kept on the right side or should it be moved over to the left side as well.I have downloaded the left hand drawings & read all the threads about it but still not realy sure about TR5.
Thanks,
Samy

If it’s the diagonal that crosses the engine bay then it makes no difference which side.

If you are putting in a straight engine down the middle you could replace with two Y braces each side, the purpose is just there to make the empty box ridged.

The frame has as many triangles as possible, this is what gives provides the torsional strength, if you are concerned about any changes try making a model of the area from straws, you can then see how much it flexes with and without braces.
