ZX9 Turbo
What work would be involved in turbocharging my ZX9R E2? i.e how hard would it be
Has it ever been done?

IHI RB52 turbo from a fiat uno blowing through the standard carbs, 2 head gaskets or a spacer plate to reduce the comp ratio, malpassi rising rate
fuel regulator from an esprit or similar, homemade plenum and exhaust manifold, maybe an intercooler or water/alcohol injection to cool the charge job
done
Well that's my theory. Its been done on a couple of blades, so should work on a ZX9.
No guarantees on how long it will stay together though.
For some reason i don't think holeshot ever offered a turbo kit for the 9 ? although it has been done. check out two brothers racing and big
cc
Considered it myself at one point, but decided it would be simpler and more reliable to drop a 12 in.

No need for a decompression plate on a blade if running less than 8psi and use optimax and run a decent intercooler, should be the same on a zx9.
They are all designed to run on 93 ron fuel.
Having recently injected and turbo'd my blade I would hasten you to do this quickly, the gains are massive for a bit of effort, throw in a low
diff as well, a 3.14 is pretty much demanded unless you have massive wheels!
