Gearbox reconditioning

I have not used them. However I note that you are in the Beds area and I would have thought that Birmingham was a fair old distance from you. Have
tried 'The Gearbox Centre' (01604 755230) in Northampton. When I worked in garages locally they were our prefered reconditioners and
honoured their guarantee on the one occasion that there was a problem (dealt with them for 12 years through the garages that I worked for). They seem
to know their stuff and are always willing to talk about your specific needs. They only draw back would be that you would need to get the gearbox to
them as they only pick up from garages that hold an account with them.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Can also recommend A1 Gearboxes in Eato Socon near St Neots . If the box in question is a type 9 have a look at BGH geartech as they do some modified
gear ratio's which makes a huge difference
